Me, Kevin Rooi, am a proud artist from Curaçao and Aruba working as a graphic designer with a deep passion for lettering art and typography. Known in the Netherlands as “The Type Guy,” my work is rooted in bold expression, calligraphy, and storytelling through design.

My colorful creations reflect the energy, culture, and identity of the Caribbean islands I call home. Through my art, I explore how typography connects people, preserves stories, and celebrates heritage.

Inspired by Papiamento the language of the ABC islands, I embrace its spirit of unity and cultural blend. It represents connection, identity, and the beauty of diversity coming together as one voice.
